Our laboratory member Alexey Andreev in collaboration with international team of 4 members had received an award for the best student project of the Extended Semantic Web Conference 2015 Summer School for the project about identifying scientists and researchers papers and recommending persons for future collaboration.
Our laboratory member Michael Galkin has received the PhD scholarship of the German Academy Exchange Service (DAAD) for doing his joint PhD studies at the University of Bonn, Germany.
Russian Linked Culture Cloud project was launched just some 6 months ago and since that time we build a demo site for navigation over the data of Russian Museum and developed a Mobile App for museum goers.
ISST laboratory of ITMO University joined to the “Internet of Things” program of the Finnish strategical center for science, technologies and innovations DIGILE (http://www.internetofthings.fi/).
At the moment, the Finnish consortium comprises of a number of large companies, small and medium-sized businesses and research universities, including Intel, Ericsson, Nokia, Softela, FRUCT and others. In the beginning of the year ITMO University has joined them, currently the only representative of Russia in the consortium.

Ministry of education of the Russian Federation and ITMO university have signed an agreement # 14.575.21.0101 upon subsidies providing from the federal budget to finance the expenses related to the SemIoT project—this is the official start of the project.
